Share Drafts are to credit unions what checks are to banks an — easy access to funds deposited in the Baptist Hospital Credit Union. The Share Draft offers the following:

E-Z Checking is an instant approval account designed to offer you a safe and practical account for direct depositing your net pay. This account is for employees who do not need checks or preauthorized payments. Accessing your funds can be done at the office by withdrawing cash or purchasing money orders. For your convenience you may obtain an ATM card. ( See fees and charges schedules). You have two choices to make in determining the kind of relationship you would like to have at the credit union. If you do not wish to take advantage of other credit union services, make a one time deposit of $25 into an E-Z savings account and maintain it for as long as you wish to use the E-Z checking account. If you do wish to take advantage of other credit union services deposit $50 into a membership savings account and pay a one-time membership fee of $2. For your convenience we can deduct either of these deposits from your direct deposit.

Direct Deposit offers you a convenient way to have your paycheck deposited into your account without waiting in line. Each payday your net pay will be automatically deposited into your Share Draft/Checking or E-Z Checking. Of course, you will continue to receive your check stub detailing your gross pay, itemized deductions and net pay amounts. Direct Deposit is available for paychecks, pension checks and social security, and other federal payments.

Cash withdrawals are free if made in the office or at the Credit Union's ATMs located in the cafeteria of the central building and at the 20th Ave. Food Court and at St. Thomas Hospital Credit Union owned ATM's located on the campus of St. Thomas Hospital. At other ATM locations, no fee for first four transactions* each month. Thereafter, $1.00 each. There is no surcharge fee (fee imposed by the owner of an ATM) for withdrawals made at the Money Pass network.

*Transactions include withdrawals, inquiries, transfers, point-of-sale processed as debit (pin-based transaction). Excludes deposits and point-of-sale processed as credit (signature-based transaction).

The Visa^® Check Card is available for qualifying checking account participants. Use it to make purchases, pay for groceries, travel, or entertainment. It is accepted worldwide by merchants that display the Visa^® Logo and transactions are deducted directly from your checking account. Check Card purchases used as debit are counted as ATM transactions. Check Card purchases used as credit are excluded.

The Card also functions as your ATM card. You can use it at any Moneybelt^sm/PLUS^®/Pulse^®, Money Pass^sm Network or CO-OP Network machine to check balances, transfer funds, make cash withdrawals, or obtain a line of credit advance.

Baptist Hospital Credit Union members can, without charge, access funds in their Share/Savings, Money Market, and Share Draft/Checking accounts 24-hours a day by using the Credit Union's two Automated Teller Machines. The ATM located in the cafeteria of the Central Building may be used to withdraw, transfer, inquire balances, or receive line of credit loan advances. The ATM located next to the 20th Avenue Food Court may be used to inquire balances, transfer funds, and withdraw funds at this location. ATM's owned by St. Thomas Hospital Credit Union located on the campus at St. Thomas Hospital may also be used without charge. You may inquire balances, transfer and withdraw funds.

All other ATM's may be used. Please check the fee/charges pages for limitations. There is no surcharge for withdrawals made at the Money Pass Network.
